Personal Data Protection Law

In compliance with the provisions of Article 10 of Decree 1377 of 2013, regulatory of Law 1581 of 2012, THE INVESTMENT AGENCY – INVEST IN ARMENIA, as the processor of personal data obtained through the different management and information and contact channels offered through its web portal or other means of contact, requests investors, entrepreneurs, allies, journalists, suppliers, users, and in general, to all natural persons who have been users of the services and/or products offered by INVEST IN ARMENIA, authorization to continue with the processing of their personal data in accordance with the privacy policies that have been established under the parameters of the law 1581 of 2012 on Protection of Personal Data in Colombia.

The information and personal data provided to INVEST IN ARMENIA may be processed, collected, stored, used, circulated, deleted, shared, updated and/or transmitted, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the privacy policies established by the investment agency, as applicable, mainly for promotional, commercial, administrative, contact and in general, to enable the provision of its services and the disclosure of its products and services.

The person responsible for the processing of your personal data is INVEST IN ARMENIA, who will collect and process them for:

  1. To comply with the contracts signed with employees and suppliers.

  2. Make payments to its employees, suppliers, social security, parafiscal contributions and report tax and legal information regarding all administrative processes arising from its contractual relationship with the owner of the information.

  3. Maintain in its databases information of its employees regarding emergency contact, academic training, career, personal references.

  4. Make invitations to events and offer new products and services.

  5. Attend and manage requests, consultations, complaints, claims or congratulations.

  6. Comply with administrative, fiscal, internal accounting procedures and those required by law.

  7. Comply with requirements of a judicial or administrative authority.

  8. Make inquiries in restrictive lists in order to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing.

  9. Advance communications or contact via email, SMS, telephone or other means.

  10. Maintain security and access control to the office.

  11. The rights as owner of the data are those provided for in the Constitution and the law, especially:

  12. To know, update and rectify your personal data against the Data Controllers or Data Processors. This right may be exercised, among others, against partial, inaccurate, incomplete, fractioned, misleading data, or data whose processing is expressly prohibited or has not been authorized.

  13. Request proof of the authorization granted to the Data Controller, except when expressly exempted as a requirement for the Processing, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable law.

  14. To be informed by the Data Controller or the Data Processor, upon request, regarding the use given to their personal data.

  15. File complaints before the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce for violations of the provisions of Law 1581 of 2012 and other rules that modify, add or supplement it.

  16. To revoke the authorization and/or request the deletion of the data when the processing does not respect the principles, rights and constitutional and legal guarantees. The revocation and/or deletion will proceed when the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce has determined that in the Processing the Controller or Processor has incurred in conduct contrary to Law 1581 of 2012 and the Constitution.

  17. Access free of charge to their personal data that have been subject to processing.

  18. Refrain from providing and authorizing sensitive data. Responses that deal with sensitive data or data of children and adolescents will be optional.
