- The Ibis Styles Armenia will have a total of 180 rooms designed for the comfort and relaxation of its guests and will be located on Centenario Avenue, generating new employment opportunities and local suppliers.
After a year of management where the Investment Agency – Invest in Armenia, together with the Chamber of Commerce of Armenia and Quindío, the Government, the Mayor’s Office of Armenia, the Inter- Trade Committee and EDEQ, joined together in a networking scenario in Bogotá to present the value offer of the department that caught the attention of the leaders of this great tourism project; today the FIRST HOTEL OPERATED BY AN INTERNATIONAL CHAIN ARRIVES IN THE CITY.
This major project will not only positively impact the community through its development, but will also create a significant amount of job opportunities.
EMPLOYMENT INVESTMENT:
During the construction phase, it is estimated that it will generate more than 100 direct jobs, providing economic stability to many families. In addition, more than 500 people are expected to benefit indirectly each month from the activities and services related to the project’s progress. This initiative promises to become an engine of economic and social development, leaving a lasting footprint in the region through job creation and the strengthening of local infrastructure.
With an investment of close to $20 million, this project will inject an annual value of close to $4 million dollars each year into the region’s economy.
DEVELOPMENT:
The building will be built on Avenida Centenario, one of Armenia’s main arteries, giving it a strategic and privileged location, facilitating access to both local and international visitors.
Among its attractions are:

● A café to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere.
● An exclusive gastrobar on the 14th floor, with more than 600 m² dedicated to entertainment and panoramic views of the city.
The firm Felipe Gámez Arquitectos, with more than 35 years of experience in the development of housing and hotel projects, will be in charge of bringing this impressive architectural development to life.

The Ibis Styles Armenia hotel will officially begin its commercialization stage in the coming weeks, with the expectation of great interest from investors from all over the country.
