- Next Wednesday, October 9, in the auditorium of the 5th floor of the Chamber of Commerce of Armenia and Quindio, will be held the event “Franchises take Quindio”.
- “Franchises take Quindío” will be a key scenario to connect around 12 national franchises in expansion with entrepreneurs and potential investors of Quindío and the Eje Cafetero.
- Event organized by the Chambers of Commerce of Armenia, Pereira and Manizales, with the support of Invest In Armenia, the promotion agency of Pereira and Risaralda, Invest in Manizales and in ALLIANCE with Publicapital and Colfranquicias.
In an interview with Diana Caicedo, executive director of Invest in Armenia, she emphasizes that the main purpose of this initiative is “to bring national franchises in the process of expansion closer to the regions”. In this case, Quindío will be the first destination of a series of three days that will also be held in Pereira and Manizales.
The event will bring together 12 nationally prominent franchises, including Mimos ice cream, Sushi Fans, Bogati, among many others, from different cities in the country. During the day, there will be specialized talks on how franchises work and how to develop successful business models. Around 50 local investors are expected to attend, who will be able to participate in one-on-one meetings with the franchises to explore business opportunities.
Diana Caicedo highlights that this type of initiatives open significant opportunities for the economy of Quindío, by bringing the local population closer to franchise models and generating possibilities for new business alliances. The arrival of these brands will not only diversify the supply of products and services in the region, but will also boost formal employment and the development of new market segments.
The expectation for the future is that, as positive results are achieved in terms of synergies and the creation of new business, this event will consolidate and grow in importance. A larger event is planned for next year, with the participation of more franchises and an increasing number of entrepreneurs interested in boosting the local market.
